WEEK TWO, DECEMBER 30, 2019

Moving from our look within and ahead, we will move into the seat of non judgement, exploring how this perspective enriches all aspects of doula work.

WEEK THREE, JANUARY 6, 2020

​In Week Three, we journey through the medicine of the over used and frequently misunderstood practice of self care, exploring it through an expansive and inclusive lens, one that can aid in nourishing us, rather than triggering. Owning Your Space + Branding

WEEK SEVEN, FEBRUARY 3, 2020

In Week Seven, we move into owning our spaces and learning to take the space we need to build our brand.

Boundaries + Contracts

WEEK EIGHT, FEBRUARY 10, 2020

In week eight, we tackle loving boundaries and sacred contracts,  how to interpret desires and dislikes into written word, the basics of energetic protection and emotional boundaries, expanding your practice and defining your own crucial code of ethics.

Space + Holding

WEEK NINE, FEBRUARY 17, 2020

In week nine, we ground into space holding; for ourselves, our clients and our community. Listening normalizing and regulating is a gift doulas can bring to their clients and their practice.

In week ten, we being to build our offerings in relation to the community that surrounds us in person and virtually. Allowing our practice to expand outward beyond one to one and enriching the people and places we call home.

Addressing the inequities in birth and postpartum and the maternal morbidity index is our commitment and obligation. We hand the mic over to one of our favorite leaders in this conversation, Chanel Portia-Albert, to guide us through the landscape of reproductive justice.

In week twelve we explore seating ourselves at the center of our businesses making space for our seasons and cycles and honoring what emerges with each ebb and flow.

Sacred Spiral

WEEK THIRTEEN, MARCH 16, 2020

In our final week, we explore the spiralic nature of this work and of ourselves. Looking at death as rebirth and over again we see that this journey is never ending and also never the same, We end with a sacred closing ceremony honoring the journey of each mentee.
